Facilitation Bazaar, is a dynamic event poised to unite individual facilitators, training organizations, and companies specializing in developing training materials. The event is intended to create a vibrant platform where facilitators from all walks of life can converge to showcase their work, engage in meaningful dialogue, and collectively promote the power of facilitation worldwide. Through a diverse array of activities and interactions, this event aim to achieve the purpose of bringing participants and visitors to collectively promote the importance and effectiveness of facilitation and training.
At the heart of the Facilitation Bazaar lies a commitment to promoting positive change and driving innovation through facilitation. By providing an inclusive space for participants to display their work and exchange ideas, we aim to raise awareness about the profound impact that facilitation can have on organizational effectiveness and societal progress. Through interactive workshops, networking sessions, panel discussions, live demonstrations, and more, participants will have ample opportunities to connect with peers, enhance their skills, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of facilitation practice.

The organizers
Elsie Training is established to advance the art of facilitation and participatory processes within communities and organizational management. Our mission is to empower facilitators by providing top-notch training, coaching, and mentorship.
We focus on developing skills that drive impactful change and foster inclusive environments where everyone's voice is heard. By offering robust networking opportunities and promoting facilitation across various industries, we help communities and organizations enhance their processes and engage effectively with their teams and stakeholders.
In collaboration with IAF:
The International Association of Facilitators (IAF), is a participatory organization with members in more than 65 countries. It was formed in 1994 and has a rich history of participatory development. It stands for “enabling powerful change,” welcoming everyone with an interest in facilitation and its widespread use in helping people work together effectively. IAF sets internationally accepted industry standards, provides accreditation, supports a community of practice, advocates for and educates on the power of facilitation, and embraces the diversity of facilitators.

About the Event
Goal
The goal is to foster connections, share best practices, and inspire innovation in the field of facilitation and training.
Reflecting its Theme ‘weaving facilitation diversity into one tapestry,’ the event is set to welcome participants from Tanzania, Africa, and beyond, offering a unique platform for facilitators and training professionals to converge and engage in enriching activities. Over four days, participants will experience various activities carefully curated for their engagement and learning.

After interactive workshops gallery walks and exhibitions will begin, with vendor booths for facilitators, organizations and companies to showcase their programs, activities, products, services and resources. Participants will mingle and gain insights, noting down lessons and topics of interest for afternoon sharing sessions.
Interactive workshops:
Held in the morning, these sessions will share lessons from the gallery walks and provide hands-on learning experiences. Facilitators will demonstrate techniques and lead mini-sessions on facilitation and training topics.
Networking sessions:
Structured events during breaks, evenings, and lunchtimes will allow participants to connect with peers and industry experts, exchanging ideas and building connections.
Panel discussions and talks:
Featuring field experts, discussions will cover emerging trends, best practices, and challenges in facilitation, providing valuable insights.
Live demonstrations:
Integrated into workshops and gallery walks, facilitators will showcase activities and simulations, allowing attendees to experience various facilitation methods firsthand.
Resource corner:
Will be set to allow participants and attendees can access books, publications, and materials related to facilitation and training, along with information on upcoming events and certifications.
Feedback and evaluation:
An online survey and interactive feedback station will be carried out to provide an opportunity for participants to give feedback on the event and their experiences.
Memorable dinner gala:
Culminating in a celebratory dinner gala, the event honors collaboration and excellence in facilitation and training, serving as a farewell gathering for participants.
Closing remarks:
End the event with closing remarks, thanking attendees, facilitators, and organizations for their participation and contributions.

Providing insights into local culture and heritage, this half-day tour offers relaxation and exploration for participants, with opportunities for study visits hosted by local organizations.
One-Day Safari:
A trip to Ngorongoro offers participants the chance to experience Tanzania's breathtaking natural beauty through a wildlife game drive, ensuring a memorable adventure.
